Simon, as my form tutor, you mentored me throughout secondary school. You were a role model and always encouraged us to progress with our academic studies. This was the foundation for my career, I now work as an NHS dentist. I remember we were both involved with a Sports Leadership course, which I thoroughly enjoyed and I still use skills from this today – especially as I now captain a hockey team.

My son has been coached by Simon since he was 6 years of age and is now being trained as a young leader. Simon not only can coach sports skills but he creates a very supportive environment that brings the best out of those who attend. This has led me to enroll my daughter (10) who has improved so much and more importantly is she is really enjoying her football, even on the rainy days.

Growing up without a father figure, I looked at Simon as a role model. Being my tutor throughout secondary school and pushing me into every sports team possible. It’s very clear to me that I wouldn’t have had the success I have had without him. Seven years I have been a pro at the Leicester Riders winning 10 major UK trophies along the way. Thank you Simon”
